Why Voiceflow

Voiceflow was founded in 2019 after we spent a year struggling with clunky conversational AI platforms and overly simplistic chatbot builders while trying to develop an agent. We were in search of a conversational AI platform that not only allowed us to work effectively as a team but also offered the power and flexibility to scale up to our ambitions, while still being easy and, dare I say, fun to use.

Ultimately, we built that platform. It's called Voiceflow, and here's why you'll love it.

Most conversational AI platforms are clunky and hard to use. Voiceflow was founded to be a design-centric, collaborative conversational AI platform that's easy-to-use, incredibly powerful, and designed to scale.

Voiceflow is not another simple but expensive customer support chatbot tool. Voiceflow's powerful no-code builder  is extended by a suite of developer APIs and features that allow Voiceflow to meet any use case.

Most conversational AI platforms are built with a single developer in mind, pushing teammates to work in spreadsheets and flowcharts. Voiceflow was built with the whole conversational AI team in-mind, with features like commenting, real-time collaboration, workspaces, and versioning to keep everyone in sync.

1. Give your agent knowledge

Upload data to your agent's knowledge base, giving it the ability to answer questions and perform tasks using the provided data. This is especially useful for FAQ automation.

2. Build your agent's conversation logic and integrations

Use Voiceflow's no-code agent builder to create conversation logic flows, setting goals for your agent. Then, integrate with 3rd party APIs, such as Salesforce or Zendesk, to perform actions like live-agent hand-off.

3. Launch your agent to any website, or other interfaces with the Dialog API

Publish your agent to any website with an easy-to-install website embed snippet. If you want to publish your agent to interfaces other than a website, such as a Twilio IVR or WhatsApp, you can use Voiceflow's Dialog API.

4. Analyze your agent's performance and iteratively improve

Voiceflow provides basic analytics and conversation transcripts dashboards to review agent conversations with. Measure success and iterate on your agent to improve automation coverage and results over time.

You can also export analytics and transcripts data to other tools using the Analytics API, or Transcripts API.
